Tube Safety
Important: WaveCraft tubes are not life-saving devices. Follow the product label and supplied instructions, obey facility and local water rules, and stop using any product that appears damaged or unsafe.
Before every use
- Inspect the body, seams, valves, handles, backrests, bottoms, and covers for cuts, leaks, separation, unusual stretching, or other damage.
- Confirm that the model, rider count, and intended activity match the product label and operating environment.
- Check water, weather, and operating conditions before riders enter the water.
- Provide capable supervision and appropriate personal flotation equipment whenever required by law, facility rules, or conditions.
Inflate carefully
- Use a compatible low-pressure pump and follow the product's inflation guidance.
- Inflate evenly until the tube holds its intended shape; do not overinflate.
- Remember that air expands in heat and contracts in cooler conditions. Recheck firmness when temperature or elevation changes.
- Close and seat every valve securely, then check for leakage before use.
While on the water
- Use the tube only for its labeled purpose and within the permitted operating area.
- Do not tow a tube unless that specific product is expressly labeled and designed for towing.
- Keep riders away from sharp objects, docks, walls, intake areas, moving water hazards, and motorized traffic.
- Do not dive or jump onto a tube, stand on it, or use handles as climbing or lifting points.
- Children and inexperienced riders require continuous, capable adult supervision.
After use
Rinse away chlorine, salt, sand, sunscreen, and other residue. Let the tube dry completely before folding or storing it. Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat, sharp objects, pests, and damaging chemicals.
Take damaged equipment out of service
Do not keep using a tube with a damaged seam, valve, handle, bottom, cover, or other load-bearing area. Small punctures may be repairable only when the supplied instructions allow it. If you are unsure, take the product out of service and ask the WaveCraft team before reuse.
